I’m so excited to once again connect everyone with one of Winterviews’ long-time partners, romance author Chloe Quinn.

Please introduce yourself and tell us what genre you write.

Hi, I am Chloe Quinn. I write Romance (Contemporary, Suspense, Mystery, Paranormal). I tend to write in different degrees, Sweet (general romance), Fire (sensual), Alarm (erotic), Magic (paranormal).

What are you working on now?

I am writing a compilation of a couple short stories with a Paranormal/Supernatural vibe to them. I am also working on the next chapter in the Caine Family book series (Broken Etiquette).

What is your next release?

Broken Etiquette is my next release and my untitled shorts that I’m writing.

Chloe brought everyone a special treat today – an interview with her two main characters from Broken Etiquette, Liam & Evie. 🙂

Hi, can you please introduce yourself? Tell us a bit about what is going on in your world?

Liam: I am Liam Caine.
Evie: I’m Evie Caine.
Liam: We’ve been married now for five years and are expecting our first child.

Can you describe a relationship that is challenging you right now?

Liam: Where do we begin? I guess with the one that has been challenging for years now, the one with my family.
Evie: They have never really recognized our marriage. And the fact that they don’t really like me. Not that they have ever taken the time to get to know me.
Liam: Which is their lost baby. (touches Evie tenderly on her hand and continues) I also think it has something to do with my history with them. They disowned me when I was a teen and up until a few months ago when Evie and I announced we were pregnant they hadn’t had an interest in repairing our relationship. Now they claim they want to make amends for the baby’s sake. And have offered to throw the vow renewal ceremony Evie and I are going to have.
Evie: I’m very suspicious of their motives.
Liam: Me too Evie, I know for sure they are up to something.

What is one thing that scares you? One thing you are proud of?

Liam: Not knowing what my parents are up to. (Evie nods in agreement)
Both: Proud of the love we share.
Evie: We have been through a lot together.
Liam: And we are stronger for it. (They both smile sweetly at each other)

Three words to describe you?

Liam: I would say Evie is Strong, Smart, and Caring.
Evie: Thank you, honey. I would say you are Honest, Brave, and Extremely Loving.
Liam: Thank you, baby. (He steals a quick kiss from Evie’s lips)

Do you have one secret to share about your story?

Liam: I’ve actually spoken to my brother Kale. There is still a lot of drama there. But I reached out to him after my parents disowned him five years ago after what he did. I thought we might find some common ground. (shrugs his shoulders) I’m not too sure what we have found especially since lately, I found out he’s back in contact with my parents… (He trails off in deep thought narrowing his eyes with suspicious of his brother’s actions. Evie just rolls her eyes at the mention of Kale)

What kind of fashion do you wear?

Liam: I’m an architect, so I am pretty laid back. I wear modern day clothes; you know jeans, t-shirt, blazer. I guess I look like one of those IT guys you would find working at a Silicon Valley tech company.
Evie: I mainly wear business suits.

Who is the most important person to you right now?

Liam: Evie
Evie: Liam (Said at the same time, both start to laugh)
Liam: And this precious baby she’s carrying. (He gently rubs Evie’s belly. She smiles at him, blushing)
Evie: Yes, the baby too.

Have you had to make a sacrifice, if so was it worth it?

Liam: Yes, we both have had to make sacrifices but let’s not talk about them here.
Evie: Yeah, let’s just move on past this question. (She cast a sideways glance at him that he answers with his own at her, obviously holding on to their shared secret)

What would you say to anyone that is going to peek in on your story?

Liam: Buckle up!
Evie: Yeah!
Liam: I guarantee you’re not prepared for what you will find within the pages of this story.
