1. First off, tell us a little bit about who you are and what type of books you write.

Hi, I am Lexi Miles, and I’m a romance author. I am a proud pup mom of two mischievous Yorkies. I am a huge fan of positivity, and I love it when I can help someone else smile. As far as writing, I fell in love with it from when I was a kid, and I still find that I fall more in love with it every day. I enjoy a good Netflix binge of TV shows...

I read and review a bit of everything, though I tend to lean towards fantasy or t...

Winterviews Is Coming

It’s almost winter, that magical time of year when you spend half your days with the sniffles and the other half trying to navigate the fine balance between holidays, work, kids off school and family drama. And if you live in the Pacific Northwest like me, it’s also that time of year where we bid farewell to the sun and hope it emerges again before all the spring seeds are in the ground.

At Hàlön Chronicles, winter’s also a time where we keep busy indoors. This year we’ve got a brand new lineup of amazing interviewees I can’t wait for you all to meet. I’ve also picked up some amazing partners in the Winterviews process. For those who read last year’s interviews, you’ll recognize these amazing ladies.

Starting on 1 December 2017, you’ll have a chance to meet all the partners as I post two...

The 3-Act, 40-Card Heroine’s Mashup – The Dragon’s Ridge

Three very different novels in three stages of completion, but each of them needs the same thing: a critical eye on the structure so I know where to start hammering.

Earlier this year, I was at the roof again: that magical writer place where you know your story isn’t perfect yet, but you’re not quite sure how to fix it. Growth is needed, and some new weapons for your arsenal, but you’re alone in the void, frustrated and scratching your head...
